Danyelle and Jeff were married earlier this month you can see their wedding post here. They wanted to rock their wedding gear once more and scheduled a post bridal session for when they returned from their honeymoon. We went out and rocked some rustic barn shots that blend very well with their wedding day shots. It was great to spend more time with Danyelle and Jeff, they are so much fun to shoot with and you can’t argue with the results.
Oh how I adore these boys! I’m sure you’ll find them hard to resist too. Jax is turing one and I had the pleasure of capturing this point in his life with his big brother Brady at Ottawa State Park a few weeks ago. Happy Birthday Jax!!

Charlene and Jacek are just plain cool kids. I was introduced to them from some friends in town as we toured the lovely Fredrick Meijer Gardens last summer. One of my favorite parts to my story with them is that they are the people that introduced me to the SNL song ‘I’m on a boat’ which has split my sides many a time AND they are my first couple to have their reception on a boat, needless to say the song ran in my head for most of the night.But they are seriously some of the kindest sweetest people you’ll ever meet and it was such an honor to capture their wedding for them.

The best man’s speech was hilarious! Without going into the whole story it involves Jacek not understanding some American slang and accidentally insulting Charlene with it.Such a funny story.
I loved the mix of orchids and irises they choose, such a simple and beautiful combo!

Megan and Casey are getting married this November. Casey works at the Farmers Market 4 days a week so a stop there was a must, and although their meeting story includes some tomato plants we didn’t get the chance to shoot with any veggies while there. We did get some adorable shots of the two… they are kinda nuts about each other and not shy in front of the camera, my favorite combo!

This was one fun party! Danyelle is a wonderful bride to have as a client, she knows what she wants, is kind, and has wonderful style. I loved her dress and pick of blue and green details, the dudes ties were the tops! Though it was very toasty this day I had a blast capturing their day for them!
I loved the Mustang! Danyelle’s folks had this car at their wedding too. Very cool!
