One of my favorite locations with one of my favorite couples! I had such a great time at this event that the day flew by despite such oppressive heat that I looked a lot like a melted candle at the end of the day. The wedding was held at a family farm on the grooms side and the reception at the wonderful Blue Dress Barn. All the details put together by the bride worked so well with the locations and the couple’s personalities. Congratulations Kristin and Matt!

The couple met at a bonfire so we took the last shot at their wedding at the bonfire.

I have known this family all my life and have had the pleasure of taking their photos many times. Most recently in honor of many special occasions the whole family got together for a beach portrait.

I meet Tracey and Ryan thru Risha and Kevan from 2008, and got to hang with them again in 2009 at Annie and Chris’s wedding, I adore this group and this couple. It is so great to see them every year and I hope they can get another couple in their group to get hitched, and have me there. (hint, hint guys! ) Tracey is the party girl of the group for sure, she loves to get a little crazy, it is easy to have a great time wherever you are when Tracey is there. Ryan is her compliment, quiet and reserved they balance each other perfectly and adore each other so completely. There lovely event was held at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan. This was my first time to this location and was shocked at the size of it, truly amazing place! Thank you so much Tracey and Ryan for letting me be a part of your day, it was an honor to see you get married and document the day for you!

This wedding was just fun. The couple are great people to spend a day with, everything was very well organized and the weather was perfect! Not to mention ROCK BAND! Congrats Casey and Chandler, your wedding was a blast, same time next year?

Wedding was held at the Fetzer Center in Kalamazoo, would highly recommend this venue!

In Natalie’s words they are a ‘easy peasy’ kind of couple! Couldn’t agree with that more, not only are they easy to get along with and fun to spend an afternoon with but they just let me do my thing and although I did get some laughter out of them for some of my more ‘unique’ ideas, we had so much fun capturing them! I look forward to spending more time with these cool cats this fall for their September wedding.

Danyelle and Jeff | Post Bridal

Danyelle and Jeff were married earlier this month you can see their wedding post here. They wanted to rock their wedding gear once more and scheduled a post bridal session for when they returned from their honeymoon. We went out and rocked some rustic barn shots that blend very well with their wedding day shots. It was great to spend more time with Danyelle and Jeff, they are so much fun to shoot with and you can’t argue with the results.
