Charlene and Jacek are just plain cool kids. I was introduced to them from some friends in town as we toured the lovely Fredrick Meijer Gardens last summer. One of my favorite parts to my story with them is that they are the people that introduced me to the SNL song ‘I’m on a boat’ which has split my sides many a time AND they are my first couple to have their reception on a boat, needless to say the song ran in my head for most of the night.
But they are seriously some of the kindest sweetest people you’ll ever meet and it was such an honor to capture their wedding for them.

The best man’s speech was hilarious! Without going into the whole story it involves Jacek not understanding some American slang and accidentally insulting Charlene with it.Such a funny story.
I loved the mix of orchids and irises they choose, such a simple and beautiful combo!
