This was my last 2015 event and it was a favorite for sure. This couple was amazing to work with! I had the pleasure of photographing the grooms sister’s wedding a few years ago and was delighted to be chosen to photograph Allison and Jayemeson’s day as well. These two are so smitten with each other, just being around them makes you happy. Their wedding was at the awesome Bissell Tree House. It was my first time shooting at the Bissell Tree House and I LOVED it! Very cool wedding location, if your looking for one check them out! We started out the day downtown with getting ready portraits and then a first look at the Gerald Ford Museum, which was one of the best first looks ever. I may or may not have shed a couple of tears (spoiler alert, I did). We also did family formals there, it was a beautiful day and the location was a wonderful choice for simple and sweet photography. After their ceremony we headed back downtown to the always popular Blue Bridge and did some fun sunset shots, the colors in the sky were amazing! We got very lucky being there just at the perfect time. After a few turns around the city we headed back to the Bissell Tree House to party, and party we did! Here are a few favorites of mine from their day.
Congrats Allison and Jaymeson! It was an honor to be a part of your day!
