My adorable and darling nieces and nephews came up for a visit with Grandma and Grandpa, hats off to them for being so bold and making here and back in one piece with 4 kids in the car.  It breaks my heart how little we get to see these amazing kids.  I so wish they were just next door so Sylvia and Oliver could know them all better.

We did have a great time together while they were here and I was quickly reminded why Evelyn was the child to convince me that having children might actually be fun, she is just as awesome as she was at two when I met her. So are all her little siblings!

The whole bunch. Sylvia asks about them and talks about them all the time since they left.  More than once when I ask her who is here she replies “my cousins?”. So sweet!

Miss Maris. Not many smiles this particular afternoon but she’s so pretty she doesn’t need them.

Joey and Evy. Joey is an expert soccer player and gamer (Eric is so proud!) and Evy is a smarty pants.. she’ll tell you too!

Oh my Oliver. I’m so loving this stage with him.  He is such a sweetie and oh those cheeks.
