Last weekend I had the honor of photographing Krista and Dustin’s wedding in Cincinnati, Ohio. I’ve wanted to explore this city for some time and was excited for the opportunity to wander around and get to know Cincinnati. Krista and Dustin had so many great spots picked out for their portraits so we really got a great tour on wedding day!
They were a delightful couple to work with and always had each other laughing. It’s easy to see that they belong together. We even got a chance to meet up with their sweet dog Mabel on the wedding day. Some of my favorite moments from this day are; the flower girls with the bride getting ready (they love her so!), getting to meet their sweet Mabel and the toasts! Those were some amazing toasts Carmen and Taylor! So grateful to have been a part of this wonderful day, every detail was perfectly planned and executed. We even had the most gorgeous weather. Well done guys. Here are a handful of my favorite images so far, there are SO MANY from this day. It was hard to choose from.
The back of Krista’s dress was absolute perfection.
Above we created a flash composite with the Cincinnati skyline. Each group was individually lit and put together in post-production to create this dramatic look. Love how it turned out!
Sweet Mabel joining the party!
Was so excited to see a tree with buds on it here at this park. Its color worked so perfectly with the building behind it and was a wonderful backdrop for the gorgeous couple.
Covenant First Presbyterian Church where they were wed is a stunning building. I adore this quick shot we got outside after portraits before the ceremony.
This is one of the coolest buildings I’ve ever seen. Built in 1904 by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, the building was reported to be the largest structure of its type in the world at the time. The building is 5 stories high and 1,277 feet long. Such an impressive structure! It is now used for a variety of businesses including the reception hall Krista and Dustin danced the night away in.
The long room made such an impressive sight with the beautiful flower and table arrangement. On-site was Urbana coffee cart and later in the night Hello Honey showed up with ice cream! Such wonderful treats for the guests.
These first dance shots make me so happy. Look at how excited those kiddos are for that cake!
Congrats Krista and Dustin! Thank you for having us down for your amazing day, we loved every minute!
