Honglian and Tien met in college as lab partners and last weekend they joined as life partners forever. This day was full of so much joy and sweet moments. I adored getting to document this day for them. Here are a couple of my favorite memories of their day. First, when Honglian’s veil flew off as we exited the church and took off high in the sky just to return to her like a boomerang, it was kinda magical really. At the reception Tien surprised his bride with a song, he learned in Chinese, the bride is from China and it clearly meant a lot to her that he did that. A wonderful moment. There were three languages spoken throughout this day; English, Vietnamese, and Chinese. It’s amazing to watch events like these were not every word is understood by everyone but the feelings of the moments are. Congrats to the happy couple! I’m so glad I got to be a part of your day. I hope you enjoy this preview of your images. So many more to come!
The day started at Tien’s family home for prayer and lunch.
Then off to Cathedral of Saint Andrew for Mass.
All hands ready to catch the runaway veil!
Love these of Honglian so very much!
On to reception time! At the Golden Gate Resturant.
