Danielle and Michael had wanted a snowy wedding and they got it! The first winter storm, and really only one, of the year, happened the night before their wedding. It was so pretty but also so frosty cold! They all braved it for a few shots out in the pretty sparkling sunshine. We had so many wonderful spots for portraits at the beautiful New Vintage Place, what a gem of a venue. If you’re looking in Grand Rapids for a cool loft-like space for sure check this one out!
Danielle was stunning in her gorgeous wedding gown, every detail fit perfectly. Though there were a few mishaps on a few bridesmaids dresses, they made for some hilarious antics in the getting ready portion of the day. Their wedding party was full of personality and humor. This was a not a very small wedding but you could tell everyone there was pretty close and loving the day together. I adore events like these. Some of my favorite moments were; Michael’s brother’s pinning his boutonniere, the bride sewing one of her bridesmaids into her dress, the first look (so many big feelings!), Danielle’s daughter and son running up to Michael during the ceremony for a hug, and sneaking away from the reception with the couple for a few creative portraits that turned out amazing. So grateful to have been a part of this day.
Danielle and Michael, I’m so glad you found your person in each other and I adored getting to document your day becoming husband and wife. I hope you love this preview, many many more to come!
